Health technology is a field of practice based on the knowledge and skills required for the prevention, diagnosis and management of the acute and urgent aspects of illness and injury affecting patients of all age groups with a full spectrum of undifferentiated physical and behavioral disorders
Anesthesia technologists are well versed with the pharmacology of anesthetic & non anesthetic drugs. They are trained in preparing anesthesia trolleys, checking the machines for suction, gas system operation, working of OT tables, various gases used in OT, and use of inhalational agents.
