BS Radiology Technology

Objectives

At the end of the Doctor of Medical Imaging Sciences program, the graduates will be able to
1. Work with Radiologist as a part of their team member in primary, secondary and tertiary health care settings, managing and diagnosing different diseases.
2. Pursuit their career in different research settings in an effective way.
3. Assess, apply, and assimilate investigative knowledge to improve  patient care.
4. Demonstrate understanding of ethical principles of autonomy  beneficence, informed consent, and confidentiality.
5. Recognize the role of the Radiologist as a member and coordinator  of the healthcare delivery team.
6. Practice quality cost-effective healthcare.

Role and Scope

There are plenty of opportunities for graduate in teaching and general hospitals to perform patient assessment, patient management, fluoroscopy and other radiologic procedures, as assistant of Radiologists in hospitals, private clinics, administrator of radiology departments and labs, registered educator of radiography and marketing manager of radiography instruments.
